we would like to bring to your attention that due to the volatile situation in EU markets caused by the corona virus outbreak, competent authorities of France (AMF), Italy (CONSOB) and Spain (CNMV) have issued a ban on short-selling positions, where the underlying asset is listed in these jurisdictions.

Therefore, with immediate effect, it is not possible to place a short-sell position on CFD shares traded in the abovementioned jurisdictions.

The issued ban is effective for each jurisdiction as follows:

AMF France – Ban applies from 18 March till 6 of April midnight

CNMV Spain – Ban applies from 18 March till end of the trading day on the 17th of April

Consob Italy – Ban applies from 18 March till the end of the trading day on the 18th of June

Please note that closing of existing short-sell positions and selling (selling of held instrument) will not be affected.
